Leica M Monochrom: best pics

Thanks Klaus and Michael.. Twice entered, twice brides maid (LoL) maybe the third time will be the charm.

You guys should all enter. Not only is there a Leica M Monochrom as top prize but there was over 13K cash in this past contest and the MM and over $20K in the one before that.

No rights grab either. The only down side is the $20 entry fee.

Good going on the recognition -- it's one heck of photo! I do know the feeling about being the proverbial bridesmaid, as you say, so I can empathize.

One more from the Route 66 sojourn...this one's from Miami Oklahoma.

Thanks Vince and that the old Coleman Theater building?

Nicely done.

Did you go check out the 8 ft wide sections just south of Miami?

Thanks.

Not really, but if winning one the dilemma would be: keep it (and have a 35mm sit on it, while using the other for wider focals or 50mm), or sell it to finance something else?

Yes, it's on the side of the theater (not on the main street). I took 69/60 from there, and I think at some point I may have jumped on I-44, so I think I missed that narrow section. Ah well, next time!

Yeah it south out of Miami on OLD 66. The locals pointed me in the right direction. You can't see it all on one trip especially if there's a time limit. Sometimes there can be a lot of backtracking. I really like the Rt 66 work that you've posted here.
