Leica M Monochrom: best pics

On a total side note, I just got a notification regarding the Art on Paper show at the Maryland Federation of Art in Annapolis. I submitted three shots for consideration (it was a national call for submissions), and there were 66 pieces in total chosen. Surprisingly, they chose all three of mine - all Monochrom shots too!

Here is the link to all the pieces that were chosen: http://mdfedart.com/mfaentry/sales/salesgallery.php?exhibit=36

Congrats Vince! Really like all 3 shots -- especially the horses -- because the horses are not real but the environment is -- like the painted horses were made to remind people of what was once there -- anyway niiiice!

Your commercial site, with the exception of the opener looks like it was shot by a different photographer 🙂

I like these two -- especially the composition of the top one with the car and the roof. Everything else, well almost everything else I do when I'm not wandering is just biding time -- a long slow death of sorts 🙂

Vince, love the portrait of "Curtis", great shot.

The "We do it the old way" is perfectly in line with a documentary on lynchings in the US that was published recently in an effort to establish a public memory and awareness that an overeager mob often made spectacle out of killing mostly black people accused of whatever without any trial ... very sad part of history. Therefore ... great shot, too.

And thanks for your comments on my short NYC winter series from last week everybody, much appreciated.

Here some "entertainment stuff"
