Leica M Monochrom: best pics

I was on a packed train from Reading to Twickenham, with soon to be disappointed Bath fans. More immediate disappointment was in store, as there just wasn’t any space on the train for them. I tried (and mostly failed) to capture the moment when the we had slowed down just enough for them to realise their fate.

I wonder if they made it?

Set up for another show of 'Invisible Threads' -- this time in Washington DC!

This incarnation of the show is at the Century 21 Redwood Realty office in Adams Morgan, and they're going to be up all summer. They'll also be having a couple of big events there, so hopefully some red dots!

Lovely setting for your work too.
I`m sure that it will be well received .

Thanks Michael -- it is a very nice setting, and the fact that it's located in a very busy part DC (Adams Morgan), and they have a lot of clients going in and out, it should get a lot of exposure over the summer. There are a few little things to touch up here and there on the walls, a bulb or two to replace, and there is a spot to hang one more vertical photo (in that blank space between the windows in that round sitting area), but it should be all ready to go for the first event this Thursday.

'Invisible Threads' is now being shown in two places simultaneously -- at the Century 21 Redwood Realty office in DC, and at the Delaplaine Visual Arts Center in Frederick, Maryland.

Vince you are on a roll, keep it up! (What is your preferred paper and printer for your exhibits?)

I'm using my Epson 3880 with the Epson inks, and Exhibition Fiber paper. Seems to work well for me.

I have another solo show in October in Baltimore, but it's going to be more 'Western' focused. Like a 're-mapping' of West. Then next May I have a show that I can't yet talk about. Gotta keep my mouth shut until they give me the 'ok' to do so.

Vince, this last set seems to have a different glow in them from the others you posted?

Guess it's that Leica Glow 🙂

Also, in that shot I stopped down the Noctilux (horrors!) to about f/2.8-4.0, plus the light hit that spot on the deck, and then it fell into shadow beyond. That shot was at ISO 500.
