I think I posted that shot just to show how great the 246 is at rendering both shadow and highlight detail. How I do wish there was a person in the shot!
I didn't really get as many 'good' shots on my recent Germany trip as I would have liked (I think maybe 10 photos tops), but I was glad that I traveled light. Monochrom 246, 50/2 Summicron and 35/1.7 Ultron. I think next time we do a Europe trip I'll bring a smaller bag (I had my Domke F803 this time).
I dropped into the 'Leica Boutique' (QF Foto) in Dresden and asked them about the 246 -- they said that they had absolutely no problem getting the camera, whereas they seem to be difficult to come by here in the US.
