Leica M Monochrom: best pics

Great time meeting Vince tonight & putting eyeballs on his prints. Way better (as usual) than looking at things online.

Vince, a pleasure meeting you. Fantastic stuff, keep pushing your vision, can't wait to see more!

Safe drive home,
Jay

Great to meet you last night Jay, and I do appreciate your taking the time to come to the reception last night and have a look at the work. Many thanks again!

Very well! There were about 25 people in attendance, including a few RFF people. I met a few people whose names I knew but had never met (Ashwin Rao being one of them), and the overall feedback was great! No immediate sales, so I'm hoping that a few do in fact come through.

Really, for a reception for someone who knew pretty much no one out here, I was very pleased with the turnout. One of the things that really surprised me were the number of people who said they have been following my work for years!

Very cool Vince. I wish I could have been there.

Vince, it was great to finally meet you and see your work in print, listen to your stories of inspiration, and just enjoy the company of another enthusiast.

Your images prompted me to take the M246 out for a spin today, and to come back here and share again :)

A few others to share, from the past 2 years of 246:

Somehow I get the weird impressions that there is already something in this portrait of the young kid that strongly gives the resemblance of the mature man at like 50years old. Maybe it's just the hair...
Anyway fascinating catch, thanks for sharing Ashwin.
