Leica M Monochrom: best pics

So it is finally official. The opening for the exhibit of my work will be on Thursday May 2 and I believe it will be at Amerikazentrum Hamburg, Germany and I think will be up the entire month. Maybe longer. Will post more info as it gets closer.

All but one of the photographs were taken with an Leica M Monochrom.

Excellent News! Good luck with the show.

I finally got my butt in gear and created a dedicated page for 'Mapping the West' on my website. I think it's much better than strictly having it as a Flickr album:

I just gave a quick look, must come back later with more time to spend on i t, but it is really a great page! Many excellent photos! For sure you made a good use of your Monochrome!

Many thanks Robert - it’s taken me a while to figure out a way to integrate my professional website with the Mapping the West photos. It dawned on me these past weeks while out West - a couple of times I had directed people to the album of photos: Go to my website, click on the menu, then go to the Flickr link, then go to the second page, scroll down to the Mapping the West album.

Too many steps! So I eliminated one of my webpages on the commercial site and replaced it with this. I think it’s a much better arrangement, and on my 27” screen the photos present really well. The titles are discreet, and I can add or subtract them as needed.

Wonderful work Vince and yes I agree about out of this world stuff happening in NM. The light there is just amazing.
Hamburg exhibit. All the images in the exhibit were shot with the MM and 35 Summilux FLE.

A few photos from the opening. It was quite humbling. The US Consul General Rick Yoneoka spoke as well as several others. Professor Achilles is in the photo below.
