Haha sorry if it wasn't clear. The goal was to show the relative size difference between a 24mp and 40mp image. If the inner rectangle is 24mp, the outer one will be 40mp. It was in response to the comment that 40mp isn't much bigger than 24mp. (Ignore the white frame)
Since a number of comments were about the ability to crop 40mp photos, this ought to give you a sense of the amount of cropping possible without loss of quality. It's not very much, in my opinion.

But it would have to be actual native size to show us anything accurately.

I have two Leicas, M6 being my top analogue and a M digital keeps my photography more fast and comfortable. I am wondering if I add another Monochrome what could be more different to my productivity?

Yes absolutely. I merely wanted to post relative size difference—if you were thinking of printing the image, for example, you can get a sense of how much larger the 40mp print could be. I doubt many here have a screen large enough to view M10 or M10R images at 100% actual native size. And those images will surely come once people have the M10R in hand.

What is the charm of the Q or Q2 when you own several M lenses? It must become a second camera.

Compact .... the high MP in effect gives you three lenses without needing to change plus auto focus of course .
Started out as a test bed for what was to become the SL and turned into Leica`s most popular model .
The lens is considered to be high quality
It also serves as a second camera too , as you suggest .

It is a possibility then to just get a Q or Q2. It makes sense. It just needs in my case to be a 4th digital Leica camera.

Good question Raid! I think if you are mainly shooting between 28 and 50 (maybe even 75!) and for any reason you prefer Autofocus it will be a small compact package.
I think Q2 is reasonably weather proof.
Persoanlly I still like the RF experience and stay with the M but maybe one day ...
Disclaimer: I never gtried a Q / Q2 ! Perfer not to try 🙂

Is the Q2 an AF camera? I know very little about the Q and the Q2 since the 28mm view is not my favorite focal length.

Yes it is Raid .
The Q2 is 40 something MP`s like the SL and the M10R.
Its a fixed 28 summilux but you can crop using frame lines in the EVF .
This enables you to frame like you might using an M by seeing outside of those frame lines .
I think I`m right in saying that the RAW file remains full frame if you choose to use it this way .
Apparently one of their most successful models .

The SL2 has the MP level that the Q2 has. The SL is like the M10, I think.

The SL may actually be sufficient for most applications. Its price is way down these days. Its lenses are too large though.

You don`t have to use the native glass.
There are a surprising amount of people who use the SL for their M lenses especially the fast glass.
Folk also use Pany / Sigma L mounts as well as the much smaller Leica TCL lenses.
You can buy adapters for Leica R and Canon glass .
The R glass looks very impressive (to me) .
The SL2 also has in body stabilisation but not the SL 601.

Cal has advised me several times to use my 75 1.4 Lux with an SL2 or SL for faster and more accurate focusing. I felt that getting an M10 should be first for me. One day I may consider a new camera by Leica where the EVF is amazing.

So many alternatives to choose from .
I tend to favour EVF`s these days so I`m happy with my CL.
