Leica M2 black repaint with CLA value?

information was it de-chromed before painting is what am usually curious when seeing this type of posts. sometimes sellers forget to mention it, or worse, chrome is still under the paint.

Looking at the top plate photo in post #11, I’m curious as to how this M2 was de-chromed (mechanically or chemically). The edges exhibit rounding and what looks to be obvious scratching from a heavy grit sandpaper. Did the shop disclose their de-chroming procedure?
