Leica M2 on ebay 299€ 6 hours to go one bid

Splash, you seem to be over-motivated here ;)

I have watched leica M cameras on eBay for a while and while 299€ is in the low-side - the auction has not completed yet. Also M2 like this tend to sell for anywhere between 350 and 550.

The auction you have linked offers a 1 month warranty - enough time to see whether the camera works or whether in needs a CLA.

So - if you want one - go ahead :)

A leica M5 SOLD for 380€ this morning and an 11F start price 250€ with elma was un sold 0 bids??And in new collection condition:eek:

To bid or not to bid that is the question

This is the second thread you have started on this subject. I don't see a M5 for 380€ that sold this morning. I do see a well-used one with haze & fungus in the VF and shutter for 389€ that sold on May 26th.

It wasnt the correct link?I dont think i gave a direct link but a page link which had cameras im looking for which is NOT an ugly(for me M5) nor any M Leica

There have been lots of very low price collection Leicas sold this morning

There have been lots of very low price collection Leicas sold this morning

One seller affiliated with a group of notorious ultra high price dealers was obviously cleaning out his cabinet of bargains last week. Quite a few buyers will have kept off these, fearing the condition of a camera whose description often summed up as "very nice and perfectly working, grade AA or was that B-C, no warranty, for parts", from a seller with a less than stellar reputation for the quality of his supposedly "mint" ones offered for twenty times the starting price. That sale might have unsettled the market for the weekend, affecting other sellers...
