Just got myself a new 24mm. Was undecided between the 2.8 and the 3.8 and ended getting the Elmar. Is a beauty of lens, just sometimes wished it had a wider aperture :) Some recent images:

It's a great lens. And in the time I've had mine, I've wanted for a wider aperture a total of one time. Once. That's it.

Great photos!

Thanks! Yes I been really liking the lens, at least in summer, I guess in winter when light goes down, it might be a different story :)

24mm is one of my more favorite focal lengths, for the same reasons that I prefer "standard" zooms that start at 24mm instead of 28. I move from time to time between using the 18-24 Elmar combination or just the 21mm Elmarit ASPH (soon to replace with a 21mm Super Elmar) when going wider than the 35mm Summicron ASPH with my M262.

Loved your photos Alejandro. I have recently bought the same lens to use on my Sony A7S and Leica M6, and I'm very happy with it on both cameras.

Thanks! How is it performing on the a7s, can you post some samples?
Also how are you framing on the m6?
