Hi!
Just got a question, about how well the framelines of 35mm cooporate with the VOF of the 40mm Nokton.
As long as the lense is not modified, i will always have to switch manually from 50 to 35mm after attaching the Nokton, right?

Best!

Thanks Cosmonaut.
But i will have to hold the 35mm Frameline selector with my hand every time i want to use it as long as it isn't modified, right?
Otherwise it will switch back to the 50mm Framelines i guess?
Anyone knows how to modify or where to modify the lense?

Best!

you have to file the cam on the M mount of the lens that activates the lever inside the camera body that brings the viewfinder brightlines up.

for the 35mm framelines, nothing should be pressing on that internal lever of the camera body, hence the filing of the cam on the lens.

Do you wear glasses Tim? On the M4, I have to move my eye around to see all of the 35mm frame line while wearing specs.

For this reason I've kept the 50mm lines and just crop a little tighter. This way the negative is very close to what I see in the viewfinder while wearing glasses.

Also remember that it's going to be difficult putting metal back if you don't like the modification.
