A hinged back would be the swing-open kind of back, which Leica RFs do not have 🙂.
Foam seals are unnecessary, but clicking sounds when the bottom plate is pushed means there's some play in the locking mechanism, which shouldn't be there.
Study it closely once it's without film, you should be able to figure out where the play comes from. The Leica bottom plate lock is no rocket science, it's dead simple! Maybe a former owner tried to open the camera without unlocking completely and pulled too hard. No need to bend anything yourself, unless it will be bending back into shape.
