Very nice shots. Have a look at Capture 1 ahead of Lightroom as your raw editor. C 1 4 Pro will extract more detail and give you a much richer image out of the box. You can then convert to .tiff and import into lightroom for any further editing and printing. C 1 4 Pro also includes print proofing which is a plus.

C1 4's advantage is the close relationship with Leica and the inclusion of camera profiles for the M8 with and without the UV/IR filter.

I use lightroom for asset management, some localised editing and printing.

I'm not absolutely sure but I think the flare is coming from the IR cut filter rather than the nocti. I often find these reddish flare rings on filtered lenses and the nocti is amazingly flare resistant normally. But that is some powerful light coming though - I could be wrong.
