you have some great shots. What do you do for post processing? Are you generally shooting at Base ISO? I'd like a digital rangefinder, but I've been holding out until the M9 falls to a price I can afford.

I make 99.99% of my PP in Lightroom 3 from DNG files. The M8 is a wonderful tool, that has a very unique "touch".

I wouldn't wait for a "cheaper" M9, there are some gorgeous used M8 on the market... ;-)
