Has anyone had good luck with the CV 21mm 4.0 LTM on a Leica M8.
Can the LTM adapter be coded, or will it work OK w/out lens coding. I was going to wait but this one if I pick it up would be like $250.00 w/21 finder.
Thanks

You can buy LTM / M adapters that allow you to code the adapter to match the lens. I have a 21mm CV non-coded and it works fine. I rarely use the IR filters and haven't really noticed a problem with my M8.2.

The M8 CV 21/4 Color Skopar (with a coded Milich adapter) is one of my favorite combinations. It works great with the M9, too.
