Indeed, life is short....yes, I have made my decision. I will buy the M9. I am not ditching my SLR's though...will keep them for the stuff the M9 is not much use for (sports, macro, and nature). I especially need my SLR for my underwater photography unless anyone knows anyone that has shot a Leica M underwater?? Is there even a housing out there for the M9/8?
In any case, I like this forum, and I am sure once I become part of the Leica family, I count on all of you for advice...can't wait to become a RF kind of guy....

Scotty, in brief answer to your earlier post, I shoot Canon dslrs and a couple of Zeiss Ikons. For walking around I'll always take the Ikons unless I need the clean digital files or a telephoto.
