Leica M9 with lens using UV/IR filters

hi, i want to know or get feedback from Leica M9 users that i was M8 user and all my lens have UV/IR filter installed, NOW , I am buying M9 body, what happens if i keep UV/IR filter on lens, do they really effect colour pics ?? and also opinion/experiance on B&W pictures also

The M9 has much improved IR handling, but it's still not "perfect." You can probably get away with using UV/IR filters most of the time. But you might end up with funny colorations or vignetting in the corners due to overcorrection. The wider the lens, the more likely this is. Try it and see.

Honestly, once I got the M9 I removed and shelved all my UV/IR filters and have only used them on the M8. The M9 just hasn't needed them.
