Be careful, this is a hacked/hoax auction. Do not be wiring any money after they explain that they are having a problem with their paypal account and need you to pay some other way.
ebay item # 250639908576

there is a .95 noctilux on our local Craigslist right now for $2900!

scammers do not rest.

Hopefully you reported it.
That is the problem with reporting it, it takes 3-4 days before ebay even looks at it and it is usually looked at by an inexperienced customer service rep before it gets passed on to trust and safety.
In the mean time they are collecting 2k wire transfers from anyone gullible enough to send them money on the side.

well lets look at,
1) pic is very professional.
2) i have seen the same pic on 30 other fake auctions.
3) "the item is in poor condition to many aspects of the item"
3a) does it look in poor condition?
3b) does this sound like a college girl who sells stiletto shoes and make up?
4) she sells stiletto shoes and make up, and college books.
5) she has not bought or sold anything in over 3 years.
6 there was something purchased in the last 6 months( to check if user was aware of hacked account) but not paid for so no feedback was giving to buyer, but buyer left generic feedback to seller, which she never did prior. She always left custom feedback.
7) red text is a gift, not text, meaning it was also copied and pasted.
8)i myself have sent many messages and i know a few others have sent messages also, and there is no reply on the ebay msg system from the seller for 4 days now.
9) i can give you at least 3 more reasons
10) i have reported it 2 times by phone.
and 4 by the report link 3 days ago.

It is not a problem for a winning bidder as long as they do not attempt to pay by any other means than paypal. 100% of the time when you pay for a fake auction it will spit the money right back into your account within minutes, because they have no real paypal account. But in the mean time i am sure they have caught a fish or two and have collected money on the side for the lens. This is usually the sole purpose of the auction. They also have canceled my bids because they were two high(and then made it look as though i canceled them). Who in their right mind would cancel someone's bids before at least sending them a msg and saying, are you sure you are bidding the right amount on this lens? They know my ebay accounts and they always cancel my bids(the hackers) if an auction makes it to last day. Theses people are smart and make thousands a month off of ebay.

master has spoken. should i try to offer him $1000 and see how he reacts? lol
lol i offered 7k and they never answered me. Someone else offered 10k and they got no answer. I asked what was the serial number and got no answer. They will let the auction end and then try for a wire transfer.

I emailed that seller, and received:

Hello ,
I worked in town for 3 years and I moved in FL with my job. This is not a problem because I know a very good shipping company who work with craiglist and they will help me. The shipping is free for you.
Thank you
++++

I knew the ad seemed fake, this confirmed it for me. But I definitely would have jumped if I'd received a plausible response.

A Google search for the email address of that response had an interesting result - a couple of posts for used children's clothing, and an ad seeking childcare for an infant and a 5 year old, in Missouri, with a phone number. A Google search for that phone number led to more posts, and another phone # (the first is mentioned as a cell #.)

Of all these, I didn't find any more ads for stuff at crazy prices, but enough investigative work for now...

These hackers will also send you emails later with links to the ebay forum( or somewhere else) were you will have to log on to your ebay account. Do not do click on links like that, it reports back to the hackers your ebay pass and log in. This is one of the ways they get your account.

I reported that auction, in addition to at least one person I know, at least 3 days ago -- it still was up for over 2 more days. Ebay is not that quick.

I find the key is to make it worth eBay's time to close it. I always report that the seller is trying to circumvent eBay fees. That gets them (eBay) angry everytime.
