Leica on loan - impressions

You guys should be ashamed of yourselves, black studded vibrating Canon P's.
A Leica around your neck does make you look cool, but women won't flock to you unless you mount a 90/2 summicron with hood extended or 135/4 Hektor! ;)

So size does matter?! :p

Maybe I'll have to start carrying my Eos and 70-300mm zoom more often.

Nah! I hate the way my Eos's handle. I'll stick with RF. Give me the puny CL any time, and let them women think whatever they want!

So I should be pretty cool sporting my 300mm 2.8 w/2x mounted on my F5! Then again, it might just scare them away! Good thing I sold 600mm f4 due to lack of use.

Er, ah, I take that back. Maybe I shouldn't have said I didn't get much use out of it. I used it every day, sometimes even twice in a row!!! (cough cough) :D :D

And you guys can't figure out why women stay away from this site!!!

Shameful!

And I gave this address to a young woman that was working in a camera store. I told her the filter was for my Leica; she remarked how much she would like a Leica, and maybe her Father would buy her one for graduation. The next day Nikki asked to use the M3. SO women certainly appreciate the finest cameras on this Earth, but this UNREFINED talk will just turn them away.

Now, go look up Leica Songs and sing your Penance.

Your Penance, Gentleman

Dunno what all this movement came for, of course it's clear the Leningrad's vibration was meant to massage the photographer's forehead just before taking the shot so his/her mind state was relaxed and ready for the 'decisive moment'.

...I guess I'm best starting to learn that song...

Btw JLW, did you see that GOI-Leningrad ? Now that's a true beauty !

Whazzat? I couldn't find any such thing in the first edition of the Princelle book (only one I have.) Is it in the second edition, or did you see it somewhere else?

It's in the second one, give me your email and I'll send you a scan. Sort of a deluxe Leningrad, very very pretty.

Sorry for the OT.
