How's the battery life with the Q? And does the batt from GH3(?) work well?

Battery life is significantly better than M9 / MM.
I bought Panasonic Lumix batteries DMW-BLC12PP 7.2V 1200mAh, 8.7Wh Li-Ion.
I think about 1/3 $$ of the orig. Leica battery and these Lumix work just fine.

Sometimes it's fun to fool around with the built in macro ring and get really close wide open.
To milk the potential of the lens a tripod might be needed, this was just handheld.
