I see not much information or comparison review between this lens and other similar lenses including Summicron both M and R.
There are some photos on Flickr pages. They are interesting and seem lot better than photos taken with more costly lenses.
Please comment. I am looking into buying this lens to use it on A7R and M240.
Thanks.

I have this lens. According the Erwin Putz in his Leica Compedium - compared to the Summicron it is close if not almost the same IQ except its closeup IQ is better than the 'cron
I use it on the A7r2 amongst other mirrorless - it's OK but not outstanding - especially in the corners

Thank you for a quick reply. The summicron is perhaps better at wide opening. Elmarit is perhaps less than half price of faster brother.I have this lens. I intend to use it around f4 -f8 for landscapes.

Given your usual shooting mode - I think you'll be very happy with the Elmarit.

It looks compact and not too ugly even with adapter.Given your usual shooting mode - I think you'll be very happy with the Elmarit.
I also thought about Sony Zeiss 35 f2.5 E mount, but, that would have limited me to use it only on Sony. By going elmarit way it is only adapters away!
