been experimenting few weeks with adapted Cron-R 35 on D200. sharp and nice lens. stop-down metering forces me to use camera full manual, not Aperture priority which is my favorite, otherwise D200 tend to expose image wrong (I know the spot metering, but still
). anyway, interesting option

about how much are adapters for R lenses to F mount? I just got an M42 to F mount, but the old Nikon glass is so abundant, that I hadn't thought much about R lenses.

Thanks Randy!
Thanks Randy!
Prices are very reasonable for these adapters. Going to now keep an eye on R primes. Thanks!

Is it just me, or have R prices skyrocketed? I recall just a few years back they were much much less than M lenses, but now pretty close??
I'm sure most are worth it, but it now makes the old Nikon primes an even bigger relative bargain.

hard to say now where prices will go, after Leica dropped manual R-system. lets hope that after these difficult times they return with autofocus R, compatible with old lenses.
