"Deed"
German website "photoscala", usually quite well informed about what's going on in Solms, states "to be shure there will be a Leica R10 presented at Photokina", and not only as protoype with unknown release date, but as "soon available" camera.
Nothing about features - if fullframe or not, if 15 megapixel or more.

Some guy
Despite my usual dislike of rumors and such, I do really hope that Leica comes through with something interesting at photokina. Though I am quite uninterested in Leica's new things as they are stupid about prices and have rolled them selfs into a hole, I really would like to see them go on at the very least.

I must agree with Colin to some degree. I recently picked up an M8 demo at a fair price against an M-film trade in. I had a Zeiss 35/2 Biogon which I loved on my film M, but was not sure how it would perform on a digital sensor. All I can say is that it is a spectacular performer on the M8. I recently tested a 50/2 Planar and was blown away by this lens as well. Half the price of a 50/2 Summicron and it gives nothing up in performance. So for me, the ZM lenses make the M8 a more economically feasible digital RF solution. To be honest, if I had to drop 3.5K for a Leica lens to go with the M8, I never would have bought the camera. It is very difficult to justify a 3.5K lens for 35mm film or a 10 MP sensor. For my Arca Swiss 4x5 I had no problem dropping 3K on a Rodenstock APO Sironar-S. The 4x5 medium justifies this cost. 10 MP sensors and 35mm does not.
