Having cut my teeth on the F5 and shooting nothing else until the D2H and D2X, I love the large bodies. But, the R8/R9 has an "elegant presence"!

For THAT matter, all of the R-bodies have such an elegance to them that beckons almost as much as the M3 did.... damned seductress!

$1,200 - is that all, Emilsand? Are you sure you've not just bought the R9 only. If not and you get the DMR also you gotta let us have details of the shop so we can have a scout about. Post a picture of your rig when you get it.
