Anyone else see the similarities between Bob Dylan and Leica?

a) their major heyday was a long time ago now;
b) since then, something of a specialised taste;
c) but both have produced masterpieces throughout that time, along with many misses;
d) a committed group of devotees who remained faithful;
e) a consistent, if modest, stream of new enthusiasts;
f) a recent rejuvenation just when it could all have dissipated;
g) re-discovery by many who'd thought there was nothing new;
h) new discovery by a new generation;
i) recognition of something precious still with us in our time;
j) a renewed interest in past achievements;
k) unexpected and interesting surprise moves;
l) keen interest in what comes next.

Any evidence that His Bobness likes Leica?

No, to me the M5 was - way too radical for the purists but it contained the future.

I haven't heard what an M9 sounds like, but Dylan's voice has taken on the characteristics of a digital appliance.

Most likely a black dial Leica IIIf with a black 85mm f/2 Nikkor.

Thanks, Mid to late 70's as I recall, I saw him up close twice that summer, a friend grabbed the Michelob bottle he drank from. This was the first time, in Toronto at the Mariposa Folk Festival.
