Saw this thread pop up this morning and decided to reach into my archives for an SL photograph:
French Over Coffee - Palo Alto 2015
Leica SL typ 601 + Summilux-R 50mm f/1.4
ISO 50 @ f/1.4 @ 1/50
The Leica SL typ 601 is a lovely camera. It's been years since I sold it: it was too much to carry after I retired, I bought it primarily for assignment work where it did a beautiful job for me. But always a great performer and it produced many wonderful photos for me.
Nowadays, I am shooting mostly with M10-M and M10-R cameras, or my quirky but beloved Light L16. Or the usual gaggle of film and instant film cameras...! 🙂
I had the chance to shoot the SL2 this past weekend at the Leica Q3 launch event in Mumbai. They had a 0.95 Noctilux on it, and I also had the chance to shoot with my 50mm Summarit 2.5.
