I see there are new software updates for the digital Ms, including the M8/M8.2. Has anyone installed this on an M8/M8.2? If so, what changed other than the lens designations? Have you had any problems with this? Thanks.

L-User forum opinion over the past couple of weeks is that it is just to add the new lens line up (Summarits?)

I realize that. I'm still curious if the update has any other effects on the images with an M8. Obviously, I could try it myself, but some of Leica's early updates had problems that could not easily be corrected.
