Leica Summarit not focusing right

I didn't notice this until I shot the Leica m mount summarit 50mm f1.5 with my RD-1. I normally shot 400 iso film in the day so my focusing doesn't have to be dead on. I've been shooting more low light stuff with my RD-1 with CV 50mm f1.5 and thought I'd try the summarit. I noticed I wasn't getting the same results.

Can this be fixed?

About half the lenses you try on the R-D1 are not going to focus right.

You can play around with either the R-D1 alignment screws, or, if you're sure the R-D1 is accurate, get the Summarit shimmed or adjusted.

I'm sure the RD-1 focuses right.

I has to be the lense. I was always suspicious of it, but I always shot in bright light and never needed to shoot wide open with it.
