Leica Summilux pre asph need Help for finding part for repair

Last mount my lens broken down so i send it to the repair shop in Thailand, they contact me that the lens can not be fix because there are no spare part.

The part that broke is the little piece that stand on the opposite side lens mount, this little piece is use for locking the focus range in the leica m lens focusing system.

The part in the picture is the lens mount piece that are taken off from the bottom side of the lens by the camera repair shop.

1. Where can i find the spare part ?
2. Are there any other way for me to fix this lens ?

It's made of brass so why not get a jeweller to braze it back on and refinish with files and emery paper.

I do not think that improvised DIY is suited to high quality lenses like the Leica's and I would not advice trying unless one is an expert and has all repair and measurement equipment in hand.
Best advice: send it to Leica or to a Leica specialist...

If you read the first post properly you will find that the OP states 'no spare part available'.
There are plenty of craftsmen out there who could do this repair by the method I suggest. Leica lenses are not 'born'. They are created by man and therefore fixable by man.
Does 'no spare part available' mean that you throw everything away?
To the OP. If you can't fix it, send the complete lens to me with all the parts please.

A good repair shop can repair. DAG Camera Repair in USA. Or find a donor scrap lens.

Or send it to Leica. They will repair or offer a new one a decent discount, at least that was the previous policy.

May suggest to listen to nobbylon's advice.. Take it to a local jeweler, it is a one-minute braze job and a little filing afterwards. Thankfully, the broken part is not lost..
