Leica Super Angulon 21mm + vf 900€ so expensive

it's an M-mount and well used. It may not look nice, but if the elements are still good, it's not expensive. The finder alone is worth 150-200 euro. Often, the hood is not included and is hard to find. Mind you, this is an excellent piece of glass.

Just seen a Leica Super angulon 21mm f 3.4 with hood and a viewfinder in what seems to be very used condition

Could be m39 or bayonet dosnt say

Seems a lot to pay for such an old lens

not yet
im thinking about it.
Remember its a film only lens (at least today)
And its not coated for color so B&W only

Add to that my M leica gave up and sold to someone who might be able to fix it.
So i cant use it----unless it was m39.

I looked at replacements but the Germans in Germany selling them are soooooo rude

I asked one if the range finder worked and the viewfinder was clear
The reply i got didnt answer the question.I wont be buying from him

The second was just as bad..no answer to simple reasonable question not a rude reply but im not going to buy and try at those prices
Both questions were writen in good German....i also ive in Switzerland so a simple message to translate ensures perfect high German.

The French might not always be exact but i can take a short drive or train for 1€ and look

A lens doesn't need to be coated (or need a special kind of coating) in order to shoot color. I've shot color negative many times with uncoated lenses, works fine. The results from an uncoated lens will be lower in contrast and flare is more likely; using a hood helps.

yes my elma used in certain light turns out images that seem to be in a fog, that is one dose the other not..so much
A coated lens has advantages

When you want to buy a 3.4 Super Angulon, here is an offer from a very honest person. He is a retired Leica Specialist who gave up repairing young and old mechanical Leicas. If I didn't have a 21mm lens I would buy this item in a heart beat.
When you visit the German Leica Forum search for Mr. Reinhardt.

I'm totally satisfied with my copy of a 4 21mm Voigtlaender in M39 on my Bessa R4A with build-in 21mm viewfinder.

BTW, I heard that Mr. Reinhardt is collecting and repairing old mechanical watches. This could be a link to a Swiss gentleman….. ;-)

Cheers

that looks great like you i find certain voigtlanders just as good as Leica or Zeiss
Did you take that image in Dubendorf??

The FULL NEW price is 439.– MSRP 574.–1 Voigtländer Color Skopar Pancake II, 21mm, f/4.0, M-Bajonett

Thats Swiss francs

I have one for my Nikon RF which has a sticking shutter...
If i find a screw version of the voigtlander id buy it

At the moment im still looking for an M replacement perhaps an M1?? To use my M lenses BUT My Leica lenses can all be used with my NEX.6

BUT I REALLY want a 21mm, that can be used and a Leica screw would allow use of my 11c 111f or NEX6 and if i buy one A7 for better or worse and i could buy a screw tp M adapter but not M to screw
If i buy an M mount 21mm i will HAVE to have a leica M not a CL

Ive spent 4 days looking for a Leica M and haven't found one i could buy

I also found a zeiss biogan 21mm for 380€ when i got to the ebay site ...sold 50mm summitar 180€ missed itby seconds

And so on ...

I do think today now its better to save 4/5/600€ that an M costs and use it to buy a 21mm screw

ALL the Leica anglons are M none screw at least non so far in Europe

Thanks, @ splaaash!
The JU52 flight was a gift from my family for my 60th birthday. This pic was shot in Leverkusen near Cologne on the Bayer chemistry airfield. One of the Swiss pilots had to clean the windows because the service man arrived too late…..

Since the launch of M8/9, prices for sh-gear exploded. Bodies and more, lenses up to a level, only Japaneese, Chinees and Russians will buy. Leica hardware is drifting more and more away from beeing photographic tools as it has been for decades, more and more collectors are pumping money into the market.

Used Leicas as M6 are old and to expensive at the moment. I payed 2006 800 € for a 3-4 level M6 camera, at the moment prices will begin at 1000 - 1300€ without knowing the actual mechanical status.
As a wide angle shooter wearing glasses the Bessa R4 has the best viewfinder for me from all brands when wide angle lenses will be used.

YES prices are shocking.I just found a black body M4-2 for 550€ which is "cheap" An M1 for 450€ another for 500€
M2 for 950€----thats to much

I think people selling just add a 100€ to what ever price shops ask and shops add-----and people still buy

Many f111 s for 350€ on ebay---for that id sell mine

Its an A7 or M4-2

If its from CH then ive flown on it as well--great loved it
