Photographer?
Absolutely worthless camera, if true. That is, unless it's got clean files up to 128000 ISO. Otherwise, not quite sure how f6.3 on the long end would be useful.

Just what everyone has been waiting for...a slow, fixed, aps-c camera with no view finder!
So they took a Fuji X-E1, made it terrible, and raised the price beyond what could even be reasonably conisdered. Bring on the special editions!

And, how does this mini-M compare to the D-Lux 6? Is it only more megapixls & price?
This is funny.
I'll take an X-E1 with 18-55, thank you very much.

I'm amazed... I wonder who will buy this camera. You'd have to be insane to choose this over the RX1 or a Fuji setup.
Edit: Gah, especially with this news item directly below the leaked image of the "Mini M": "Three Full Frame mirrorless from Sony to come in 2014!"

So this is not a rebadged panasonic right? And at the low low price of $2450 Euro too.. sounds like a cracking deal

I think the lesson Leica is teaching us is that they will never again release an M-mount camera for less than $5000.

All these 11 pages and so many news on the web for this camera? LOL
Based on this I can safely assume that the rangefinder, M mount and the full frame sensor can only exist on the Leica M system. Leica will never create another camera that will use the rangefinder or the M mount or the full frame sensor in another system other than the M.

I really do hope that there's something off here, either the price misrepresented or the lens specs. If accurate this is fairly horrific in a crowded market.

I don't know. That doesn't seem right to me. The x2 makes sense, the M-E and the others make sense. Even the rebadged panasonics make some sense. But this? I don't know.
Also, there's no way they're calling this a 'mini m' with a slow fixed zoom. It just doesn't make sense.

Fully agree. At this point it's still a rumor so...

Seems like a pretty official leak. Though I still don't believe they will call it the "Mini M." Nothing in the leaked images refers to the name.Fully agree. At this point it's still a rumor so...

I think Leica has lost their mind. What a disappointment.
