The best solution is to send your camera to Solms, to Leica itself, it will not be cheap, but it is a guarantee of a job done at the state of the art. Leicas are not cheap anyway, so to make them perform at the right level, you cannot compromise on maintenence. Go to Leica site, and you will find the instructions on how to proceed.

But as you're in Italy what about contacting Luigi? at leicatime - he may know of someone more local to you.

Yes I know it!🙄But I'd buy a m2 or m6 and try to customised it without spend to much money😀I mean change leather color,winding lever,maybe change VF/rf but don't want to spend more than 400/500 euro😉

I know them but i think they are seller/trader not repairing customizig camera...🙂

One of the best Leica Techs i know of is Ottmar Michaely, close to Wetzlar. He does a lot of restoration work for Lars Netopil ( one of the premium dealers for ultra rare Leicas).

I can recommend van Manen as well. good communication, CLA work documented, reasonable prices. being able to pay in Euros is convenient too, least for me.
