I just happened to read this article. I couldn't help but chuckle somewhat upon reading the last paragraph. 😀

No offense meant to the photographer ...( esp. if you're a member here). 🙂

And no offense meant to all religious groups ...and to all non-leica users either.... 🙂

Peace!

No, it is too bright. All the cloth shutters will have holes burned through them. Now the Hexar RF's titanium shutters...

Which is a highly flammable material. If you apply a concentrated sun to those, your WHOLE CAMERA will burst into flames....:bang: 😀

Also too quiet...you'd get one shot off before they'd ban for being an annoyance 😉 When they ban you from heaven it's straight to h*ll! 🙂 Where it's all disposable point & shoot and digital. 😉 🙂

I am betting that h*ll is any camera you want. As long as it uses 828, 126, or Polaroid roll film. And the only processing available: the stoned-est, minimum wage, surliest, teenager you've ever seen running a onehour machine. That has its on screen menus and manuals in any other language than the kid's own. And they'll ony print on coffee mugs. And you have to get double prints.

Oy.

If anything, if any of all these hypotheses are possible, then I'd say a Daguerrotype would be the only thing to use. The lighting would be perfect, no need to wait for the exposure, the fumes would be cleansing, and everything would of course look smashing. At f/7.77, of course 😉

Why should Leica users go to heaven?

I think those who suffer with sub-optimal and hedeously decayed, bulky, evil cameras should go to heaven first for having paid their dues.

In the last paragraph, the photog says that when he dies, he wants to take a picture of God with his Leica... hmmm perhaps with the discontinued Kodachrome 25?
