I know this is in the wrong section...but....I wasnt sure where to post this and I am a Leica M6 owner so I thought you guys could help me out.

I own 3 lenses that were used on an old Braun camera. Heres the written info on the lens itself for all 3 lenses:

Roeschlein-Kreuznach Telenar 1:3,8/90mm C

Steinheil MunchenCassarit 1:2.8 f=45mm

Staeble-Chrono 1:3,5/38 R

Plus I have a Brown Leather, small camera bag type thing that can go over your shoulder. It only says Braun Nurnberg on the front of it. Any links, info, help, etc....would be appreciated. I really want to learn about them and then perhaps sell em/trade em soon. So thanks in advance.

These lenses are for the Braun Paxette. They do have an M39 thread mount probably. There is even an adapter available for it in Japan to mount the lenses on M Leicas - but forget about rangefinder coupling. As far as I know some Braun cameras did not even have rangefinder coupling, it was the "poor man's Leica". Some Braun cameras had a bayonet which is proprietary and incompatible with any other camera in the world, some have the weird Vitessa camera bayonet.

Here are some links for you, some ar ein German:

So what are these worth? Who would be interested in them and were they high quality cameras in their time?

-Dan

The camera know as Paxette or Braun are fine cameras if found in good working order. The lens are also excellent quality but will not work on the Leica except by the almost impossible to find adapter.

I have the lens mentioned and a few others. They are good enough quality I would use them on my Leicas if I had the adapter.

Value wise....they aren't worth much..
