Maybe I can get a cake like this for my birthday!!! Hint, hint.
The ring is really cool, too.

That ring is very cool. Who'd have thought there's a woman out there who'd go for such a thing...

i had my M6 on me during our wedding, and took photos as well during (but passed it on to my best man for the vows and ring exchange) - that was as far as i was able to stretch it

Looked like a fun wedding and some very nice photographs of the honeymoon! Would have been fun to see them cut the cake . . . . .

All of the photos are available for sale. No prices are listed because you probably can’t afford to buy them. It doesn’t mean they don’t have value. Using them without permission is illegal and really stupid, considering I am a copyright lawyer… that is when I am not breaking knees.

I don't think I would 'hire' this person. Maybe he will break my knees for quoting his website?-Dick

Stuff like this only does credence to working photographer's notion that digital M's are merely the plaything of uber-rich technophiles. Not that I'm within either of those camps. I'm just projecting and being ornery.
Irregardless, thanks for sharing. When everything else piles up I come back to my M, every time.

Ha, ha...ornery is okay. That is always a good place to start each morning for me. Kinda like getting Monday out of the way early in the week!
Personally, I think weddings in general are too much storybook crap and that is why I cannot bear to shoot them anymore. Better that they get a simple ceremony done and save the expense of a huge wedding for a house.
And I have a daughter-in-law who is a very successful wedding consultant of all things.

Theme wedding, sounds like California, I like Emily's photos very much. But I guess Matt and Emily did the editing together. I wish they had some information on the editing process.

I really like the Noctilux ring; I think it is a very imaginative ring, not just as a wedding ring.
How do we know that the so-called 'woman' he was marrying was not in fact a Leica in a woman suit? That would be my first suspicion. We often talk about being married to our cameras. Maybe he's actually gone and done it.

The best camera is one that still works!
I thought the cake was pretty cool but the Noctilux ring is a little ga ga for my tastes!
