Leicaflex SL converted to 1.5 volt-battery question

Beloved SL converted to 1.5 volt. Can I use my M6 batteries in it?

If you refer the Leica M6 battery, the1.5v silver battery is better since the voltage is more stable than alkaline. You have to buy an adaptor to use 1.5V silver battery.

The battery compartment for the SL is for the 625 battery, while the M6 takes the smaller SR44, 357, etc. So I don't think the smaller batteries will make the necessary contacts to work. 625 alkalines (1.5V) will work.

you just a dummy adapter and put your silver oxide 1.5v into ....and then in your SL battery well.
