Leicas at a secondhand camera market

All those Leicas in one place, maybe the Swiss prefer Alpas. I really don't see what the big deal is about Leicas. I have an M3 and a IIIa and while they are beautifully made and delightful to use, so are many other cameras including pinhole cameras made from found objects.

My Leicas never "folded" - my canon, fuji and Hasselblad all at one time or another gave in/up at a critical moment were i needed them the most but never my Leica - I still havent had to rely on a pinhole camera made of found objects for a pro job so I guess I can not comment on their reliability ;-)

Hey you guys, whatever you do dont come to Japan, here in either Ginza or Shinjuku you can see obscene amounts of beautiful cameras but Switzerland might be cheaper. If you come over when they have a camera show you can see thousands of leicas but not much wud be under $300 but tons over $800 & plenty over $1500. Plus you can see other cameras, these shows here cud stock many a museum
