Shooter of Film...
I was at my local camera store buying some Neg Holders and there was a lady talking with the guy who worked there...she was picking up some prints and was REAL excited with the prints...
I started talking with her and she had her camera in her arms...The camera case said Leica on it and so I asked if that was the camera she used to shoot the photos...then I asked if I could see it...
It was a chrome M3 with a 50mm lens...she also showed me a 35mm f2 Bug-Eye lens she also had...
After hearing from all you guys about shooting with this camera I had to ask her if it was "all that" ...Her response was the funniest thing I've heard in a long time...mind you this was a young 65ish year old woman I was talking with...
Her answer to that question was..."I just about have an orgasm everytime I trip the shutter..."
I'll just leave it at that...I had to laugh...
She was very friendly and excited about her camera she said that she bought it in France and got a great deal...
She then started pulling things out of her briefcase and one of the items she showed me was a photograph...An original photo of Hitler in a caravan of others driving through some European town...the shot was taken from a head-on POV while his car was making a right-hand turn...in the foreground were civilians saluting him...on the street corner where soldiers holding back the crowd...
The photo was about 3x4 in size and on the back it had markings that it could be used as a postcard and "Agfa" was also printed on the back...
She said that the wife of the man who took the shot was a friend of her's...she also noted that both these people were dead so she couldn't get anymore info about this photo...
She was interested as to what kind of camera might have been used to shoot it...
Interesting day I must say...😎
