Leitz 1650 CM WWII Artillery Rangefinder

Leitz made a lot of varied optical equipment for the German Army, Air Force and Navy during WW2.

Artillery Rangefinders/Viewfinders, Sighting Devices, Periscopes/Periscope Parts, Binoculars, etc. etc.

Pretty crazy piece there, pricey, but stuff like this does`nt turn up often like Binoculars and smaller devices do, I`m sure if the right WW2 collector comes along, it`s a matter of digging deep enough into their pockets if they really want an item like this, the WW2 collectors I personally know have stupid money and spend $10 or $20k like it`s nothing.....

Funny but seems like Canada`s the place NOW to find rare WW2 ,Leica stuff, I just bought an authentic WW2 German Kriegsmarine Leica IIIC/Xenon lens combo from Nova Scotia
(original WW2 Royal Navy capture) from a U-Boat.

I found it interesting to see the company's name "ASKMANIA" in one of the auction photos. They made automatic watches for cockpits in the 30' and 40s.
