Leitz 3.5cm id query

In the past l have shot with 5cm Summar and a 5cm Elmar, soon to arrive is a 3.5cm Elmar, how can l tell if it is a nickle finish Elmar, what do l need to look out for. Below is an attached image of the incoming , apparently the glass is clean and the marks on the image is just external dust, (we shall see ) It certain look uncoated😀 Thanks in advance for any halp

Looks like chrome to me. I got a coated one this summer and like it very much. An old design but I like the images I get from it and it is very small. I can see why it was called the travelers friend. If uncoated a hood will be helpful. I hope it works well for you. Joe

many thanks for the information Joe l shall now begin a hunt for a hood no doubt they shall be difficult to find and expensive 🙂
