Leitz 35/2.8 Summaron vs 35/2 Summicron

I'm planning on trading in my Voigtlander 35/2.5 Skopar for a Leica 35 of some sort and first thought was to get another 3rd version 35 Summicron, but I've also been considering trying out a 2.8 Summaron instead.

So I guess my main concern is how do these two lenses compare at 2.8 in terms of sharpness and contrast?

I have both and to be honest I can't see any difference in photo quality between the 2. So if money is a factor go with the 2.8 Summaron..
