Thanks Peter, and remember these scans are from Wal-Mart prints. The negatives show what the Jupiter 8, in this case a late model black plastic one, can do. They say you have to buy five to get one good one; I guess I got lucky and bought the fifth without bothering about the other four.

P.S. Peter, as a medical person you might be interested in the photos of cadaver bones under specific stress conditions my daughter has taken with her Olympus 5050. She has to show me those when my wife is asleep as she would pass out if she saw them. It is the research she does.

Peter, unfortunately, I don't have those shots which are of leg bones attached to some kind of stress device. The research was done at University Hospital of Case Western University Medical School in Cleveland Ohio for which my daughter won a national award.
My wife faints whenever I mention it even though she is very proud of our daughter. My daughter was a little miffed when I presented her with the Olympus 5050 digicam as she wanted something more compact. I pointed out that it had macro features that more compact digicams did not. She sure has put them to good use.
