What a crazy contraption! I have never seen or was aware of these. I cant find any write-ups on this device. I want one .

It is mentioned in the Leica Collector's Guide with 2 photos, and small blurb, but nothing else.

"OOFRC (1936) - Remote release and winder operated by 2 cords; one for winding and the other for shutter release"

It's not even mentioned in the Code Word Index in the back of the book

It's in the "Leica Accessory Guide" by Dr Laney from Hove Foto Books. I've the 1989 version and it's on page 87 saying it was released in 1936 with a photo and brief description. That's why I didn't respond to the post earlier...

There is an error in the Laney index where it is listed as OORFC as opposed to OOFRC.

(Where are members of the Society of Indexers when you want one?!)

Laney has omitted to mention a third string which switches the camera from jpeg to RAW

Going one page earlier (in the big Laney book) I have never seen let alone tried to use MQUOO...
