The seller copied it into the ebay listing I think...
Indeed, complete with copyright details—what a hide. At least, selling for over $3000 partly on the strengths of Roger's article, he should be in a position to pay some compensation for the usage...there is an option on eBay listing pages to report unauthorised use of copyrighted material, Roger, for future reference.

Oh, and this lens is for sale here on RFF "exclusively" in the classified ads, if anyone's interested. I'll probably regret it, but I'm not a collector, or really

FYI, the Thambar has been sold, pending shipping and inspection, to (I believe) a very fortunate gentleman in CA.
