You have enough lenses, Lux, or so it appears. Give him a break. . . . pun??? Maybe. Then you won't have to carry all that heavy german glass around. It'll be nice!

Not just you, my friend. I just have to laugh when I see all the guys falling all over themselves to be helpful. Oooh, that's a nice user name, Lux. Oooh, you have a nice lens collection, Lux. And she winds you up and you don't even recognize it ("this 75mm lens is penal" ie penile).
I'm so glad I'm married. But ya'll carry on, the show is a hoot.

Well Bill, let's face it, calling ones profession "ex-wife" in a predominantly male community is a bit like wearing a red jacket to a fox convention. And most of them in the midlife-crisis/babyboom age-groups too. I don't think being married conveys much immunity.

My shots must be up to date.
I take your point, though. Where I work, I find it impossible to have a conversation with a guy when a woman walks by. The eyes follow, the head turns, and then I get the blank stare and a heartfelt "huh?" when I ask a question.
Personally, I don't like feeling like Pavlov's dog, but whatever works.

Really guys how (or don't you) do you bring your cameras to the other, more dangerous part of town to shoot if you're all sooo protective of your gears? Do you keep the leicas home and bring your J8 on the bessa or perhaps a digicam? Not that there's anything wrong with it...I bring a digicam alot nowadays especially if I don't plan on shooting.
BTW I gave him the 40mm to use.
