Lens advice for Rd1s

Hi

Need your advice. Considerations are IQ, 3D-effects, sharpness. I do not want to own too many lenses, just 2.

I shoot street scenes, street candid portraits, occasional landscapes, cityscapes.

With a 1.5x crop factor, would u recommend for the stuff I shoot:

1. ZM 18 f4 and ZM 50mm f1.5 C-Sonnar

2. ZM 21 f4.5 and ZM 50 f1.5 C-Sonnar

3. ZM 18 f4 and ZM 35 f2 Biogon.

there were about six or seven thoughtful replies here last time I checked and they have all disappeared...very strange! the gist of what i wrote in my reply is in my to northernlights's pm: my first choice would be the biogon 2,8/25 and the C-Sonnar.

There are at least three threads on this. I believe you may be thinking of one of the others. Under the "Epson R-D1" thread group, there is one about choices of Zeiss lenses, and another about selecting a lens for a new R-D1. You might check to see if one of those is the one you are looking for.
