Lens cap for Summarit bayonet-style filter?

Hello everybody,

I acquired a Summarit 50/1.5 and ordered a UVa filter which fits it on ebay:

The only thing is, I don't know what size it is / what size lens cap to order which covers the filter. Does anybody else have one of these bayonet-style filters and know what size lens cap I should get? I'm extremely OCD about this kind of stuff!

I have Summarit 50/1.5 and the Leica bayonet UV filter. The original Leica lens cap is 40.5mm and it fits perfectly over the Summarit 50/1.5 WITH bayonet UV filter attached.

You may find you have to replace the 'felt' lining the lens cap for a tighter fit...
