No, they're not hard to find. Try eBay. They turn up on Tradera every now and then, too.

You may find a just as serviceable substitute, at a much lower price, with the easy to find eBay seller Heavystar -- unless you want the Leica brand name.

Kevins camera has a bunch but you pay the price. Ebay has a few--I was looking too for one for my DR 'cron. I think I'll go the heavystar route until more funds free up and I find one I can afford. I have a hood from heavystar for a different lens and I'm very satisfied with it.
