hello all,

i have a filter and lens hood question about p67 105mm f2.4.

recently bought a pentax 67 metal lens hood and discovered i had to remove my 67mm orange filter for the lens hood to fit.

it looks like there are threads inside the lens hood, but i could not manage to fit the filter to it. wondering if someone here could give me any advice on how to solve this dilemma.

thanks,

one more time, for the p67 users...

hello all,

i have a filter and lens hood compatibility question about p67 105mm f2.4.

recently bought a pentax 67 metal lens hood (turned out it is a bayonet mount) and discovered i had to remove my 67mm orange filter for the lens hood to fit. the hood will not fit over the filter.

it looks like there are threads inside the lens hood, but i could not manage to fit the filter to it. wondering if someone here could give me any advice on how to solve this dilemma.

mebbe i'll try a generic rubber lens hood with the filter. i'll use a few frames to check for vignetting, not sure if stopping down the lens and looking through it will give me an accurate view.

breathe, relax and enjoy.

thanks,
sg...aka kenneth

I use regular 67mm filters and a 67mm generic rubber hood on the 105mm & 150mm. I use the same filters & hood on a bay. to 67mm adapter thingie on the Zeiss 80/2.8 Planar.
Hope that helps. Use your big Pentax!
