Like others have said. The original hood is a pinch type. I've knocked mine off literally a dozen times, and I consider myself a pretty careful user. I now use the 43mm hood that came with my first version CV 35 2.5 Pancake.
I would suggest picking up a cheap screw in hood even if you do get the original.
